^ Great film. Is Klaus Kinski really that unknown by the way?
Anyway, the Herzog/ Kinski boxsets are well worth picking up.
I watched..unfortunately, house at the end of the street. Utter fucking shite. |

| OT: To the guy above; I recently bougth S2 and S3 of the League of Gentlemen and it sucked a lot! I wonder how they managed to fuck it up that badly, after producing such a fine first season... |

Maybe a bit overlooked, but when you first see him in action he definitly becomes a reference in actorship in your book. The Aguirre interpretation is just breathtaking, what a character!
Just went to see Killer Joe yesterday, awesome movie, Harsh and funny, the way I love it. |

This documentary, by Herzog, about Kinski, is fucking brilliant.
Doesn't matter if you haven't seen any of their films, or all of them, or something in between -- just go see it. |

It's pretty damn funny. I also pretty much buy anything I find from Mondo Macabro. Case in point I just bought Satanico Pandemonium and Virgins from Hell. |
I had heard they were going to stop putting stuff out, but I'm glad to see that's not the case. Now, if I could just find a replacement for Xploited Cinema, I'd be in business. _________________ Murk and unending discomfort:

I thought the irony in my comment was obvious. |

Omen III- put it off because the "good" jesus wins and that sucks. But, good movie.
Starship Troopers--first time screening for me. Good movie. Kinda long, though. |
starship troopers is great
if only fascism really caught on
agree with end of watch points
the chola is comical but overall the movie is entertaining
normally im turned off by shakey 1st person cams
but its not overly used in the movie
i used to work in south central
its not that exciting but it still sucks |

Samsara in theater in some crazy resolution. Same guy who directed Baraka. It was fucking good!
Kept thinking about taking mushrooms before and during, but didn't want to risk freaking out in a packed theater. Probably would have been pretty nuts. |

Sure hope Mondo Macabro stays in business. I haven't been interested in the last few titles they've done, unfortunately.
I miss the hell out of Xploited Cinema! Tony took alot of my money & offered great prices & service in return. DiabolikDVD isn't bad but still lack alot that XC had. |

I remember taking mushrooms and watching Baraka when I was in high school. It doesn't have the same appeal as it once did but I'm still sort of interested in seeing Samsara. |

hah, no it wasn't!
re: the league of gentlemen.
I like all three series to be honest, although I can understand why people don't like the third series , as it isn't as obviously funny, no sketches, no laughter track and doesn't feature Tubbs and Edward or many of the other notable characters. |

I always feel the laughter track takes away from it, no need for it. |
