Dredd, which was just as awesome as I was hoping it would be, even better because I didn't have to see it in 3D. I really hope it does well enough that they can make the two proposed sequels. _________________

The 3D did actually kick arse, oddly enough. I usually can't enjoy it at all but it complimented the film's look rather than fucked it up. The ideas that have been put out for the two sequels sound great. Fingers crossed. _________________

I did give up after the first season, for that exact reason. |
You really should give it another chance... they get past the gangbanger shit bout halfway through the second season and it enters a league of it's own entirely after that.
I can't understand how Aaron Paul (jesse) wins awards. He fucking sucks. He only has two expressions and I just don't buy him as an actor. Then again, friends always claim that he's a good actor because he makes me hate him so much ! |
Yeah it is one of those shows where luckily each season has gotten better and better and once its hooks are in, there is no getting away.
I think he (aaron paul) does a good job because as you said you hate him for being this weak, wannabe toughguy/wigger who whenever shit hits the fan freezes up (90% of the time) and is just such a perpetual fuck up and a true reflection of alot of people in the lower end drug peddling game.
Same with the woman who plays Skylar, shes a good actress because you truly think she is the biggest bitch/mole in the world to the point where i feel like im getting nagged when im watching the show! Such a pious bitch.
It's like that kid in who plays Joffree in Game of Thrones, he plays the part so well you want to punch his face in everytime he comes on screen. _________________ www.darkadversary.com |

i dont get not liking it because you dont like 'wiggers'. its not like they were portrayed in a positive light, they were being made fun of more than anything.
still havent started this season yet. _________________ format your doormat |

Finished the TV series "Brotherhood". Enjoyably grim. I guess it's compared to the Sopranos, except there's zero humour and every character in the show is a despicable scumbag.
Now watching this Parisian detective/cop show called "Spiral". Not bad. Tit mutilations and covert pedophile sex rings are a popular theme... |

This thread is not metal related! PLEASE TAKE DOWN!!!!
Anyways. I saw DREDD recently. I thought it was going to be horrible, but it was actually pretty good. Good ol' violence and I saw End Of Watch too which is a good one. _________________ "Take your age and add 5 to it. That is your age in 5 years...." |

Atom Age Vampire, Carnival of Souls and Creature from the Haunted Sea
Carnival of Souls really is the only one that stood out to me. I absolutely enjoyed it! _________________ Let the dark rivers flow... |

| Bought Resident Evil Damnation dvd yesterday. I'm gonna watch both this and Degeneration today as a marathon, before i start to play RE6. And just to note for those who dont know, these are definately not part of those shitty Milla Jovovich live action films but original canon CG movies. |

Yesterday evening on TV:
Not the biggest fan of either Tarantino or Rodriguez at all, but this movie is still fresh and entertaining. Would never buy it, but if it comes on television, why not? |

| Yesterday I bought Ben Hur (1959), Spartacus (1960) and Alien (1979) on blu ray format for around 30 bucks. I have not checked them out yet but I'm very curious about the first two. Both covers say that they have returned to the original negatives, had each frame restorated etc. |
