Well...call me stupid, but I watched the Re-animator trialogy for a first time these days. part 1 and 2 were one the greatest, most hilarious movies, I've ever watched - recommand me similiar ones...

For grotesque and/or funny 80ies splatter:

From Beyond
Return of the Living Dead
Basket Case
The Dead Next Door

And of course The Fly and The Evil Dead, but you surely know these...

Cool - I've watched The Fly, Evil Dead, Basket Case, Dead Alive and The Dead Next Door, but From Beyond is a classic which somehow I've missed so far - it will be the next movie I have to watch along with Maniac.

You can give "Flesh for Frankenstein" a try, also very bizarre but from the 70ies on the other hand. Still great fun if you can get into it. Only worth watching for the hilarious accents of Udo Kier and his perverted assistant.

And watch out for Impetigo-samples if you do so.

Dead Alive / Brain Dead is another great horror comedy if you haven't seen it.

Bad Taste, also from Peter Jackson, is great fun too.

A movie I recently watched and thoroughly enjoyed:

Messiah of Evil (1973)

An obscure horror flick with a quite bizarre atmosphere. The US DVD by Code Red is highly recommended.

Most recently was Lords of Salem... Awful. Rob's attempt at a "Kubrick" style film, as he stated was a flop.

Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer was a good watch recently. Also re visited Argento's Inferno, and Deep Red the other night.

I just finished watching Orgazmo when I saw this thread on top.
Trey Parker at his finest!

Good movie. Check out his previous (student) film "Cannibal The Musical" if you haven't seen it. Super silly, but if you like South Park / Orgazmo humor you should like it . Takes quite a few viewings to really sink in, though.

"Blood Diner "
"Dead Dudes In Da House"

fits in some previous postings.

"Dead Beat At Dawn" is a more cold blooded one!

aswell as "Le samurai" with Alain Delon!

Yeah, I watched Dead Beat At Dawn for the first time some weeks ago, one of the coolest movies I've seen, ultra violence!

Ah yes, it was quite a while ago since I last saw it but it's a great movie. Time to see it again pretty soon. I very rarely like comedies. But I like everything Trey Parker have written that I've seen so far. (Some South Park episodes aren't that good but there are 16 seasons so what can you expect?)

This has to be one of the most unintentionally funny movies I've ever seen. Hurt waking up naked with goat or deer blood or whatever on his mouth? Almost pissed myself laughing.

Heh, can understand that. For me, as soon as the aping madness occurred I just found it funny.

Have you seen the Garth Marenghi's Dark Place episode, the Apes of wrath by the way....? I recommend it, if you haven't..
