Can't say i am a fan of VHS at all. Stories were nonsensical, and was unimpressed with the cheap effects.

Oblivion.

Interesting story, really impressive visually. Definitely worth seeing on the big screen.

Starring Tom Cruise as Tom Cruise (But they call him Jack in the movie) and Morgan Freeman as Morgan Freeman (But they call him Beech(?) in the movie)...

Spring Breakers

I really liked this movie despite all the negative criticism it gets.
Korine's punk approach and kick-in-the-nuts of American MTV teenagers is daring and challenging with success imo. Spring break forever y'all.

The new Superman movie was superb. Has comic book film franchise finally figured the formula out?

I was expecting another fairly goofy affair but was quite impressed with the actual movie.

Have copie of The Lone Ranger and the new Star Trek up next.

I did however watch Idiocricy and I have to say, was this a documentry closely based on reality or just comedy gold... it is really hard to tell since it kinda has a lot of truth in it.

World War Z

I already was impressed by trailers but the full movie is superb! I really like it in despite of lack of gore effects!

This is up on Netflix right now. I wasn't expecting much, something like an indie romantic comedy / "Kick Ass" hybrid. It kind of is, but this flick is also incredibly brutal, almost on the same level as Hobo with a Shotgun, in parts. Lot's of big names in this one too. I was pleasantly surprised.
If you enjoyed Super you MUST watch "God Bless America" as well.

Also, I recently watched The Human Centipede II. It was depraved and vile, which I liked, but it also had some flaws like bad acting in some places.

Oh, I saw God Bless America. I knew Bobcat Goldthwait had directing skills (Shakes the Clown was awesome), but the movie far exceeded my expectations.

Pacific Rim was awesome, I loved everything about it and would love to see a sequal. I also loved Robot Jox so I had high hopes that were not dashed. Giant Robots fighting shit done properly, hated the transformers movies except the old cartoon one and Pacific Rim really made me forget about those travesties.

Today I watched SHORT EYES - 70s prison drama, worth checking out if you're into grim 70s crime stuff. Its on youtube.

Also THE LAST DETAIL with Jack Nicholson. Great 70s movie they way just don't make them anymore.

Driver with Ryan Gosling. Didn't have high hopes for it (the wife chose it heh!) but turned out to be great.

Hah, yeah, chicks dig that Gosling fella...Well, you had Christina Hendricks...

Hate to be a pedant prick , but it's "Drive". Anyway, tip-top film!

I wouldn't mind seeing that Only god forgives film with him in, coming out soon, directed by the same dude who directed Drive ( and Bronson)

Critics thought it was shit.
