Saw Hacksaw Ridge last night. Some mighty fine war scenes once they climb up the ridge.

Definitely the type of dude who would buy the Emperor boxset and never listen to it.

I started yesterday, got until episode 4, and it's still good.

Hell House, LLC - found footage flick about a group opening a haunted house in a possessed old hotel - surprised me, good watch

Talon Falls - not bad...out-of-towners realize an extreme haunted house is torturing/killing people when they become the next victims

Halfway through with Never Hike Alone, digging it so far.

Never been a fan of the Matrix, but I also never heard someone saying something positive about the sequels.

As for "pure" movie trilogies, I guess the Godfather one is still unchallenged (even with the weaker third part). Back to the Future was solid too, part 3 was also weaker but still watchable.

Any other movie trilogiy was ruined by more sequels, prequels and spin-offs or even complete reboots. So sadly Mad Max, Evil Dead, Romero-Trilogy, Rambo and Alien are out of the competition.

Nah, Fury Road is a worthy addition. Certainly a better film than Beyond Thunderdome.

Weinstein scandal? You're not going to watch jewish movies because you were unaware that actors have to fuck their way to the big screen? Look into it, they all do it, men, women and children. Either way, you're better off not polluting your mind with excitotoxins.

Don't understand it either, he was only the producer, why would that spoil a movie?

If we're talking about Clownhouse were the director raped the young main actor ON SET, well that would be different story. But the whole movie has an uncomfortable pedo-vibe anyway, so....

And let's not forget that "harrasing" women is also very rock'n'roll. Who really would be suprised if bands like Mötley Crue, Mentors, Metallica, Guns'n'Roses or Scorpions aaaand so on were being "total pigs" towards women at some point of their careers?

I watched Blade Runner 2049 and I enjoyed it quite a lot, as a matter of fact.
Sometimes, they just take too long on a sequence, but the overall atmosphere and landscapes are pretty good. The soundtrack is incredible too!

Finished Mindhunter. Great series so far. Although I felt it's was difficult to fully get your teeth into it as it's a very slow burning show and only 10 episodes. Really gave the feeling that they've only scratched the surface with this season and there's far bigger things to come. Hopefully next season we'll see interviews with Berkowitz and Manson all heading towards the final interview with Dennis Rader.
