It (2017)

10/10

The Ghoul

Fucking excellent, the best Lost Highway "adaptation" I've ever seen. Recommended. 8.5/10

I do plan on seeing Blade Runner 2049, but this will be the last new Hollywood film I see in a cinema due to the Weinstein scandal. I also got the DVD of the film adaptation of 1984 a week ago and plan on watching that once I finish the book.

Weinstein scandal? You're not going to watch jewish movies because you were unaware that actors have to fuck their way to the big screen? Look into it, they all do it, men, women and children. Either way, you're better off not polluting your mind with excitotoxins.

And let's not forget that "harrasing" women is also very rock'n'roll. Who really would be suprised if bands like Mötley Crue, Mentors, Metallica, Guns'n'Roses or Scorpions aaaand so on were being "total pigs" towards women at some point of their careers?

I'm sure the groupies had just as good of a time as the bands did. I think these actors don't have a very good time fucking a fat and ugly curly hair for a part in his movie or a record on his label, why do you think these gangstas act all gay after they "make it".

Bought:

Hack-O-lantern Blu-ray.
Awesome obscure slasher with a satanic cult leading grandfather. Kinda reminds me of if John waters directed a slasher film. Massacre video.

The Slayer Blu-ray Arrow Video.
Haven’t watched yet. Maybe tonight...

Watched:
Hell House LLC (surprisingly creepy found footage flick).
The babysitter (sucked ass)
The Prowler (one of my favorites)
Hell Night (comfort slasher goodness. One of the best.)
Halloween 1,2&3. (‘‘Tis the season)
Kill List (because it rules)
To all a goodnight (David Hess Santa slasher)

Just picked up a copy of Savage Weekend, heard very mixed things but I'm keeping my expectations low...

Finally had time to go see Blade Runner. Simply amazing and everything I hoped for, I need to see it a second time but I loved it. Visually stunning and one of the most beautiful and tripped out films I've ever seen. Maybe not as atmospheric as the first film, but definitely was impressed by the (almost religious) tone, atmosphere, sets, the score, soul crushing cyberpunk details (fake holograph girlfriend that falls in love with him and tries to help him, is it programmed that way or is it developing an awareness like a replicant?) with tons of more questions then answers. I loved seeing how replicants function in their social position and how they're treated by humans, not something you get to see in the first movie..

I'm not surprised it flopped or a lot of people found it boring, especially since it's impossible for most modern audiences to pay attention to something other then their smartphones for more then two hours and if you're not an avid fan of the first film all the story and detail is going to be boring..

First three episodes of Mindhunter. The guy who portrayed Ed Kemper is really good. Cant wait to see Manson, or not?

No Manson. You get Richard Speck though. Still a great series so far. Like a combination of Zodiac,Silence of the Lambs, and a blue collar version of Hannibal the television series.

just finished Mindhunter, really great series. Keen for season 2 already, figure it has to revolve around BTK given the teaser snippets of him in the majority of episodes.
