God Bless America is awesome.
It was actually great, I just saw the name and the plot and decided to watch without ever before hearing about it. Didn't like the ending that much, but brilliant movie anyway.

^^^ Still yet to see GBA, but have you seen any other films that Bobcat Goldthwait directed? Shakes The Clown and World's Greatest Dad are both REAL good.

Whilst I am here, the past week has been -

The Wire - Season 5
Das Boot
The Day Today - various episodes
Brasseye - various episodes
The Last American Virgin

The Conjuring has to be the worst movie I've seen in the last few years. We were all laughing in derision by the end of the movie at how bad it was.

Really ? I don't see how anyone who appreciates classic 70's horror and haunted house films could dislike this film to that degree. I thought it was a damn good film with great vibes and a genuine old fashioned atmosphere that didn't rely on gore. The acting was also very good all around .

I agree, best modern horror of the last few years. Boggles my mind how it could get written off so harshly.

Yeah I also reckon it's pretty sweet as far as modern horror goes. Well worth the 10 bucks I spent to see it in the cinema on an otherwise boring weekend afternoon.

I saw Gravity in Imax 3D a few days ago, it was pretty entertaining.

Went and saw Gravity 3D last night... not as good as the hype surrounding it... Sandra Bullock in her space undies floating around was good though.

Thank god I snuck whiskey into the theater.
