DUDE. You have no idea how much better it's going to get. It'll keep getting better and better until season 5 which is a bit of a dip but still great.

Von Trier looked semi-lucid in those short Cannes interviews/appearances, his conditions are apparently deteriorating, he also said that this movie is probably his last one, bummer.

November (2017)- Bizarre and batshit crazy Estonian dark comedy in b/w and quite possible the most visually striking movie I have seen in years, it heavily draws influences from Tarkovsky and Lynch, but still manages not being too derivative. I would heavily recommend it, but I am sure it will divide the crowd. And I forgot, its bleak, very bleak. My favorite flick of the last year, 9/10.

Somewhat entertaining. The ladies are pretty fucking hot, some acting was kinda lame imo. Was expecting and hoping for more I guess.

Pretty good. Lots of good interviews with Bruce and his '94 band as well as people from Bosnia back in the day. Some pretty savage war footage too.

121. 05/15 - Scream For Me Sarajevo* (cinema) - Pretty good. Lots of good interviews with Bruce and his '94 band as well as people from Bosnia back in the day. Some pretty savage war footage too.

122. 05/19 - Fahrenheit 451* (2018) (HBO) - Pretty good updated version of the classic novel.

So after having seen Ant-Man, I thought why not continue with man-related movies. We can dismiss super and bat, so I went with Rain Man, a 1988 drama/road movie starring Maverick, Topper Harley's girlfriend and a prototype Forrest Gump.

I hadn't seen this one since childhood and hence had forgotten most of it. Dustin Hoffman plays an autistic savant who can count scattered toothpicks on the floor seconds after they dropped, do insane multiplication and remember the phonebook, but inexplicably doesn't know what's half of a dollar. Pretty sure that's not how autism generally works. He can also occasionally get REALLY LOUD AAA AAA A AA BATHWATER without warning and because he puts on such a great performance, really makes me want to punch a dent right in the middle of his face just to spare myself the noise pollution this guy emanates. Tom Cruise is constantly up to his neck with his retardo ways, but per every quirk Hoffman's character has a remarkable talent that is both intriguing as well as possibly useful for Cruise, whose business is in grips of bankruptcy. The unlikely duo doesn't get into that much trouble, which would be an easy way to unify people that are otherwise worlds apart. They both still learn a little bit from each other. Indeed I felt similar vibes were explored in Dumb & Dumber and Forrest Gump 6 years later.

Good movie.

The Wire's great. That being said, watch The Shield when you're done, it's better.

If anyone has any tips on where to watch November, please share!

Huge fan of The Wire...The Shield is better though? I'll give it a shot.

I am going to say that I disagree. The Wire was truly a thing of its own. Breaking Bad might be the only show at that level, but even that might be a stretch.

Having said that, I found Better Call Saul much more entertaining than BB.
I agree that it may be the only thing that came close to The Wire in its ambition as a TV series, but I thought the novelty wore off after about 3 seasons. Whereas Better Call Saul is suited to a short run.
I also am an Odenkirk fan, so I guess i'm a little biased, plus I found Aaron Paul to be a whiney little shit B-grade actor.

All seasons of The Wire are great. Two last seasons need maybe a couple more times to watch it through to get the whole idea.
