Quote:
Bay Area thrashers Dekapitator will see the official re-issue of their 1999 full-length album We Will Destroy...You Will Obey!!! this summer via Relapse Records. The long out-of-print album has been repackaged, remastered, and includes four new bonus tracks. We Will Destroy...You Will Obey!!! will see its CD and digital re-issue on June 21st

Fucks to them for no vinyl reissue but still for those who buy CD's get this one! The best and most underrated modern thrash album ever in my opinion!

This is so much better than that other pile of junk that Decapitator released as well. If you've only heard their other Relapse album, The Storm Before The Calm or whatever witty bullshit title they came up with, don't write this off based on that.

We Will Destroy...You Will Obey fucking kills.

Yeah good album. The vinyl is pretty easy to find.

The second album was shit though.

If I'm not mistaken it was pressed in larger quantities on Vinyl than CD the first time around, so that makes sense.

I don't think the second album is shit at all. I really loved it when I first heard it and still do. It's still really ripping but with different production.

I like the 2nd album. It has a more conventional Bay Area sound but is one of the best of those type of albums that came out during all the retro thrash craze that was going on - the songs were a lot better and more interesting than many others by verse/chorus pizza-and-zombies thrash-is-our-favorite-word type of bands.

The first album is really good in a different way though, and I had no idea it was out of print. I wonder also what the bonus tracks will be - demo or something?

You are mistaken. First and only presing until now is 1000 lps + 1000 cds.

I have an unplayed copy of the first lp with insert and folded poster I would trade if anyone is interested.

Cool. I guess since I always saw the LPs up for resale I just assumed there were more of them around. For some reason I thought it was 1000 lps, and 500 cds.
