Like the other thread but for positive stuff not worthy of their own threads?
I think it's a good idea for a thread but please delete it if you find it unnecessary.

Starting with some Finnish heavy metal I came across a few hours ago:

Dusk - Where Dreams Bleed

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sIXgwuiq0I&t=363s

Primitive Doom-Death from Pakistan, reminding me a bit of early 90ies greek demo stuff at times. Surprisingly cool but very amateurish of course. With the albums they tried some emotional & experimental stuff and that didn't work out well IMO.

Not really a recent discovery, but an unknown, yet very good recording.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BjRjwgK__s

Crescendo Of Pain was a one-off side-project of Ral (Mightiest, ex-Depressive Silence, ex-Gothmog) which only released one demo in 2000. The sound is decently lo-fi, yet very heavy on synths and guitars at the same time. Might please fans of Emperor & Summoning.

Dręsill (Icelandic Trad/Heavy Metal) - Welcome to the Show (1985)

Amazing Wesley Willis-esque "rock n' roll this entire place up" lyrics!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgc4gJJ3IZ4

Quote:
Lights are out and the stage is set, the band begins to play
two more hours of thunders and lightnings on the way

Spotlights are on, the music's loud, the crowd begins to roar
sounding like the crack of doom - the singer screams for more
Can you feel it ~ can you feel the heat ?
It's a sensation, revelation ~ stand up n' bang your head to the beat

Rock 'n roll has been around as long as i recall
I've seen some ups n' downs, but I've never seen it fall
Everywhere around the world "head-bangers" stand tall
Tonight I hear 'em callin' ; "Long Live Rock n' Roll"
Can you feel it ~ can you feel the noise ?
It's a sensation, revelation, like a dream

The crowd's getting ready - it waits for the sign
the band's rockin' steady - the power of the music
makes the audience stand up and scream

The crowd's getting ready ~ it waits for the sign
the band's rocking' steady ~"Long Live Rock 'n Roll"...
My guiding-light.

Been jamming Black Devotion lately and I find this song ridiculously vicious in particular. It's listed to be on a split with Blakk Old Blood, however I cannot find any other information for this song on MA or Discogs. I'm assuming it was scrapped for the split and just left on Youtube, but I'm curious if this song exists on some sort of physical copy.

This past year I've discovered these two, and listened to them all the time:

Crush - Kingdom of the Kings (my favorite "discovery" in many years)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmgNRxGS4Sg

Valor - Fight For Your life (I found this one thanks to a post here, actually)

To be a true sister thread I would have named it something like "The best fucking band you've come across lately", but, nevertheless giving this a bump as it's a useful thread.
