New to some of this stuff. Any recommendations for one album from each of the artists that would be considered crucial?

Pretty interesting so far. For the most part these guys seems like the real deal, which is really refreshing/depressing.

Striborg is terrible, Xasthur is boring, and Leviathan has a couple good albums. Probably will watch anyway haha. _________________

The documentary appears to be more interesting than the bands.

A few minutes in, and I agree. The narrator has no idea what he's talking about, but of course I am not surprised. _________________

The most interesting about that doc is to see that these people are really devoted to what they do, and they seem very isolated from the world outside. Xasthurs home could be used as some horror house scenery lol _________________

Personally I liked the description from Chips & Beer's twitter: The entity behind Xasthur lives in a hovel and went broke buying a bass he can't even play. http://youtu.be/UQl6PzXU4cQ #betametal #whoknew?
I will watch this tonight ha ha.... _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/ngadke |

It's really weird and creepy. Bunch of really strange people doing strange things like acting scared when another person is within a three foot radius of them.
