|
|
Bolt Thrower's classic album, "Realm Of Chaos" is FINALLY back on vinyl! All details will be confirmed this Friday when the vinyl will be available to preorder from the Earache Webstores, and will include an EXCLUSIVE colour limited to just 100 copies!
I'm sure I don't need to tell you that this highly sought-after album will sell fast, so do not hang around or you'll more than likely miss out. The vinyl will be available to preorder from 6pm BST / 1pm EST on Friday 12 October. Need I remind you that the most limited colours of previous reissues from the likes of Napalm Death and Morbid Angel sold out in well under an hour?!

Carcass peel sessions on vinyl would rule, wish I could find my copy. _________________

Sadly I doubt it as from what I understood, they're not allowed anymore to use it anymore by the original artists, hence the 'redone' of the CD reissue... |

Earache could always take the time to contact the original artist Ian Miller and pay him royalties like I did for using his artwork on the Crypt of Kerberos LP box set, and then it would be no problem to reissue it with the original artwork. Ian's a cool guy, easy to work with and his licensing rates are reasonable. If I can afford it, Earache should have no trouble at all.

| Will be the audio from the CD anyway much like all Earache lp reissues, so really why bother, unless you just want the bigger artwork, which won't even be the original.... |

Digby already asked Games Workshop if they could use it (after the licence expired) and they said no.
The new art isn't bad though. |

Probably because both cover paintings were done by the same artist, John Sibbick. _________________ http://sethbennettillustration.blogspot.com/ - Artwork and graphic design

actually Earache is one of the very few labels that reacted to the retarded pseudo-audiophiles and reissued the Napalm Death albums from the original master tapes. As if anybody could tell the difference where the audio came from... Unless it's brickwalled to shit like the Repugnant LP, Dismember Pieces reissue, all the Doom reissues that came out etc. who the fuck cares?
You can think of Dig Pearson whatever you want but he hit the nail right on the head with this one: http://www.askearache.blogspot.de/2012/05/morbid-angel-various-pressings-on-vinyl.html |

This... still need a copy myself. That and a non-bootleg Peel Sessions on vinyl. _________________
