Sounds great, like a missing link between dimension and nothingface, and vocalwise it sounds like killing technology!

I heard just a snippet of this earlier and was intrigued - listening to the whole thing now. I've been kind of put off by this band for years; except for Piggy's playing (always great), they just kept doing a lot of things I didn't really care for. Seemed like they were always trying to be either too poppy or too heavy and forgetting what made them unique. But a semi-return to their prime years (Killing Tech through Nothingface, in my book) would be awesome, even if Piggy is gone. Mongrain knows what he's doing and based on this track and his other work, he definitely seems influenced by the originator.
edit - Halfway into this, I'm pretty damn impressed. This sounds like something that easily could have come after "Nothingface" if they decided to go back to being a bit thrashier. _________________ http://unspeakableaxerecords.com |

Excellent track. "The missing link between dimension and nothingface" is a great call - I completely agree.
I actually liked the last two albums, but if this song is any indication the new one will be their best since Nothingface! Can't wait!! _________________ Evil Is As Evil Does... |

Yeah, I'd agree with that. Good to hear they're back on it.

Well Mongrain an Blacky know how Voivod has to sound, Blacky didn't even like Angel rat, and Mongrain's fave albums are dimension and nothinface.
Let's say they gave the band a rebirth, and set things on sharp. _________________ good deals with wolfram, mickO)), luca bright, Portentum, xyosefx, Chit019, bMz, Stygian shadows zine, funeralfog666, jesus iglesias, paria, humus, somberlain |
