About time someone dedicated a poll to our favorite nasal prosthesis. It's just lovely isn't it?

Unfamiliar. Is anything actually worth looking into?

Up to Crypt of the Wizard (Era I) it's keyboard music. Very minimalistic. The Stargate started a new chapter (Era II) and it's more like electronic pop. There is nothing metal on his discography.

But is any of it good? I don't care whether it's metal or not...

I can't answer something like that for you because it doesn't mean that you would actually like it.

I enjoy all of Era 1. I found out about Mortiis through the LLN zine scan floating around online.

is it good? yeah if you like simple keyboard soundtracks that sound simmilar to the music in old computer rpgs

i like- Anden Som Gjorde Oppror-
a good album, music for the background to read a book to or something.
He released too much stuff.
Vond - Selvmord Is gloomier but good bleak stuff too.

so i can enjoy these two more or less.

Selvmord is fantastic for sure. I could say that I enjoy it more than Mortiis material.

I really like the monotonous-gloomy melancholy on the debut (and the one-track-demo before).

The other "Era1" albums are too much fairy-tale-gayness for my taste.

First 3 albums + first Vond album are mandatory.

I actually like that wacky Cintecele Diavolui album. Silly as all hell, but for once it sounds like the fella is in on the joke. So if that was on the poll, I would vote for that.

Selvmord is also quite nice - or at least I thought so when I last heard it. Which was like ten years ago or so, come to think of it...

I really liked it when i was a kid (in the 90's) but haven't listened to since my childhood... Now I started to listen one of the youtube links (Fodt til a herske) and I really enjoy it now. Nostalgic mood hehe...

It's in the "so bad it's good" camp, but I'm a fan of era one. For some reason I have a signed LP of the first album sitting on my shelf. Crypt of the wizard is probably the best. Zero interest in anything after that, although I occasionally give the Vond albums a spin.
