Is one of them some copy perhaps? Would appreciate any info. |
the Black CD has an IFPI code, as I see this album was released in 1992 but IFPI codes started to appear in 1994 so I think that the Black CD is a possible repress or bootleg perhaps?
here you can find more infos on the history of SID-codes (IFPI) https://www.ip.philips.com/licensing/services_and_ordering/Manufacturer_codes/sid_codes.html |
Thanks!
Every Wild Rags release that has been sold (that are included on this site) is the black CD.

As i said, i can't find any info or pictures on the silver one. It's like it doesn't exist.
But as you said. IFPI codes started to appear in 94, which would make the black one a repress or bootleg. Maybe this means that the silver one is actually the first press? Maybe that's why you never see it being sold anywhere. |
found a site with scans of the Silver version http://surfacer.egloos.com/1890995
maybe it was released in a very limited quantity and is therefore not so widely spread and known as the black CD? who knows... the best would be of course to contact the label owner and ask him directly |

Yeah that's what i was thinking.
As i wrote earlier. I did contact them on facebook and they couldn't help me. I asked about Richard C, that someone mentioned in the thread and the guy on their facebook said that no one knows where he is. He has been gone for several years. They did say that i could ask Dark Realm Records because they should apparently know more about this. Sent an email to them earlier. Hope they answer.
Haha, this is getting ridiculous |

Thank you very much! Now we know that the black one is in fact a repress. So you were right about the matrix code toxicbreed |

You're not going to get Richard C. to answer you. His daughter says he doesn't care about anything metal related. His daughter isn't running the Facebook page either...she certainly wouldn't refer you to Dark Realm.
I'll show her this thread but she's about as close to an expert you may get for an answer on this. _________________

wow, so there IS a version of Stillbirth Machine on Wild Rags where the cover art isn't ridiculously askew.
edit:
actually, my eyes deceive. It looks to be about as bad even on the original. ggs Wild Rags. _________________ ALL SHIRTS MUST GO: http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17489 |

I checked out another copy last night at a friend's house, it's also the 1st press on silver disc - no surprise since he got that around the same time as I did. _________________ Into the Menstrual Night We Go-o, Hey-Ho, Hey-Ho...
