I found a website that looks like it has copies of the "Aerth" 7", I was wondering if anyone knows how reliable it is...
http://www.emmo.cc/Picture-Discs-7-12//DROWNED-Aerth
Also, the site is unable to take paypal so it would have to be a money order, and mailing from the US, I am sketchy about it.
Other than that, are there any distros that have this or the other demos?
Only having 4 tracks from a band this incredible is just wrong! |

I contacted this guy 2 months ago about this 7" and he told me that it's out of stock. I guess the site hasn't been updated for centuries... Send him an email though. He might have some copies back in stock. |

That sucks...I wrote to him and the band as well...hopefully something will come of it.
Also, anyone heard the first demo they did? It's on ebay right now at 20 bucks, which seems a little ridiculous... |

Its good, but not as GODLY as the one after (??): 'Conquering The Azure'- one of the most bizarre, macabre and addictive demos i've heard in fact. Its very different from the latest stuff and may not be everyone's cup of blood...
The demo on ebay is more straight forward, ugly death metal.. |

yes, I have only a copy that will (sooner or later ) go to Mr. Illomen, who ought to be the most patient man I happened to bump into. _________________ Into the Menstrual Night We Go-o, Hey-Ho, Hey-Ho...

i havent heard anything more by drowned than the viscera terrae demo but that is truly one of the best modern death metal recordings. |

on a more general note, is the whole occult death metal thing going to just become a sterile trend after awhile? at the moment, i, like many others, are really pleased by the recent increase in dark death metal with occult imagery etc. but at a certain point, is it going to become pointless? it seems that every band is trading in their goats and pentagrams for triangles and more "serious" imagery. im fine with this move, but concerned it may get abused quickly. any thoughts? |

No offense at all but have you seen any style of metal that is not plagued by faceless band wagon hoppers? _________________ A nobody in a world of somebodies.

Bandwagons don't make any real difference...1,000 bands can have the same cover art and lyrics and only one will have the sound that matters...
And really, the only thing I care about is what comes out of the speakers. If there is no real spirit, it will give itself away pretty fast. |
