Somehow I knew someone would ask this question as if it were a huge ordeal and made a difference. 
Buying from SSP or HHR supports SSP, it is an SSP product and Kramer is getting paid for that record either way I'm sure... and apparently selling SSP products via HHR is somehow okay with Kramer since they end up there...
The other reason is HHR has a massive store with many other items I would be likely to all buy at the same time.
However if this record is not going to end up there... then pre-order sent.
That simple really, no other reason... other than my own financial maneuvering.  |

Yeah, honestly for a one man operation getting proper distribution is actually very helpful because it reduces the amount of packages that need be sent. If you can send 100 records to a distributor, rather than filling 100 retail orders... I think you get the point.
A traditional record label does not do any direct selling of their own, they just deal with distributors who are responsible for putting the music in the hands of the people. However, in underground music, we are generally dealing in such small quantities that having at least a portion of sales direct helps significantly, especially in the short run.
