Crowned in Terror is their only album that I don't particularly care for (well, I haven't heard the new one).

Tompa's voice somehow doesn't work for me in Crown. The re-recorded version of Crowned in Terror with Lindstrand is way better than the original. Anyway thanks for the recs. I'll check out Nightrage, never listened them. Anything else?

Hypocrite, The Moaning (haven't listened to this in a while so could be mistaken).

The Crown have always been one of those bands that people (particularly people in bands) raved about, and yet the few times I saw them it was always empty.

Thanks again for all the recommendations! I hear the similarities in all of the above mentioned bands just as the Dissection and At The Gates influences. They are just Swedish. Maybe Impious is the closest...

But I don't hear and feel the insane intensity of The Crown in the above mentioned ones. I still think The Crown is on another level especially in playing and in strong structures.

I don't think there are any bands that sound much like The Crown, because Saarenpaa's drumming was highly important for their already good-sounding deathrash style. That's also what I don't really like about Doomsday King, which was a really good comeback album imho, but the drumming parts are a bit dull in comparison to their previous efforts.
