Webshop has been closed since summer 2011.
I used to buy from them a lot. Excellent distro.
I e-mailed but no reply. Does anyone know what happened ? |

| Always a really controversial distro but I never had any real problems. As for their status I have no idea, there was talk about moving to new website or something but I take it that never happened. |

| Short version: Started pre-orders for Fidei Defensor-album, that went quite bad and that for it was never released by Supernal, then decided to quit the label and focus on other things. |

Ah so a change of name then? Is he only stocking his own releases now or something? Also loads of books on stuff I couldn't give a shit about |

| The impression I got was that he hyped up some kvlt black metal release that would only be put out if enough people ordered it, then went on a hissy fit because not enough people gave a shit (including myself I suppose) and then decided to close the label. I guess he couldn't stay away too long though... |

| What the fuck? That's what he looks like? What the hell is he even babbling on about there? Something I have less than no interest in it seems. Guy looks like a car salesman. |

So what? As if you'd need to look like a character from "Waynes World" for running a Black Metal-related recordlabel and mailorder...
As far as I can tell, Supernal is on hold (and will most likely remain there) and Alex is focusing on books and speeches and what-have-you. The bands I do know/work with who were signed to Supernal at some point, they too have not received any response to their inquiries in the last year or longer. _________________ Solitary Elitism:

I don't give a shit to what he looks like.
I just care about reliable distro where I can buy good stuff for reasonable price. |

| I remember getting the catalogue delivered to me every month years back, back when he gave a description for each release, and getting into some cool stuff because of them. His editorials were always pretty amusing/entertaining too... |

UK distros that fit the bill:
http://distro.todestrieb.co.uk/
http://www.legion-blotan.mutant-ape.co.uk/
Was going to say Under The Dark Soil too but the website hasn't been updated in a year, so I'm guessing he's closed.
there's also these, but not used them yet:

| Todestrieb and Aphelion are both reliable. Same for Cold Spring. |
