I guess this is again a collector item. I have nothing against those but i would really like to see a "Mortiis days" compilation, with a booklet like the one "Ancient Darkness" did for Mayhem. This made by somebody else than Back on Black.
I have a picture disc of this release from the Emperor box set and it doesn't really do it justice, soundwise. Hope this one is a little bit better. |

The old picture disc Damnation Recs did in the late '90ies is still the best version next to the HNF regular vinyl press. This one doesn't look too bad lay out wise but of course it will be pressed you-know-where and will probably end up looking/sounding like utter crap.

The B side layout is pretty lame. The collage should have been on an insert instead.

I always thought the perfect Emperor release would be Emperor/Wrath of the Tyrant/As the Shadows Rise/any rehearsal material that might exist. Never considered the booklet thing, though. Good idea!
On that note, there has to be rehearsal material with Ildjarn on bass somewhere... would kill to hear it if it exists. |

| The Crypt should release a version of the Early Emperor stuff they already released some Thou Shalt Suffer stuff on vinyl so shouldn't be to hard. |
