there's not a lot metal shops left in Paris, last both good ones have closed in the last 2 years.
you can try Rock'n'Roll Voltage, rue du Roi De Sicile 4e arrds (a bit pricey tho)
Gilbert Joseph, boulevard Saint Germain 6e arrds
Plus De Bruit, rue de La Rochefoucault 9e arrds (looks average but if you look good you can find some 80's germs!)
Born Bad, rue Keller 11e (not metal, mostly punk stuff but cool shop)

this is just what it come to mind for the moment...Paris is definitely NOT rock nor metal.

oh and avoid metal bars, except if you dig Rammstein and stupid goth people. it's just full of posers. it's not Germany here!

Gilbert Joseph was an amazing store! Cheap prices, hard to find albums... no vinyls though (they only had the TANK boxset on LP). I didn't try Plus de Bruit or Born Bad though. Thanks for the recommendations Nagawika...

and Haagenti, this is Annick... it was cool hanging out with you man! Nosferatu... inside of yooooou!

Rockn Roll Voltage was very funny. Horrible prices too. Yes there were lots of good stuffs but prices were very expensive. And I saw a Grave lp from their box set. I remember that box set was 60 euros but this lp from box set was 77 euros. hahaha it was very funny

And Gilbert Joseph vas very cool. Good prices and lots of stuffs.

Shit, Nagawika, I should have gotten in touch with you man... fuck! We were in Paris only for two days though. Still, it would have been fun as hell to hang out! Ps. haha, you know how to swear like a quebecer!

Haagenti, Rock'n'Roll Voltage was indeed a total rip-off store... everything was like fucking 30% - 40% more than the original prices! It's ridiculous! I still bought the Axe Killer Sortilege EP boxset with t-shirt though... I couldn't resist it... Embarassed Anyway, I don't recommend that store to people, unless you have alot of money to throw away...
