|
|
mcp5011 did it again. after the Wongraven bootleg the "market" gets flooded by new bootleg LPs:
Burzum - det som ...
Satyricon - dark medieval ...
Unanimated - ancient god ...
Neptune Towers - both
at least I think these are new bootlegs as I have never heared of a burzum - det some ... boot with the classic cymophane cover artwork or a "dark medieval times"-boot before.
check his auctions: there you can also become aware of many classics such as deathcrush (posercorpse) or the first kampfar LP that should be regarded as bootlegs as he calls them "fan club releases". anyway, even if there might be some original LPs listed, I would not trust this guy.

beware! or enjoy.

Undercover sold a stock of those as "original remainders" recently. I'd be interested about the differences from the original presses? _________________ Good/Bad traders list

In all honesty they don't look too bad judging by those pictures. I'd pick a copy of the Deicide/Unanimated ones if the price was acceptable (and I know it won't be). _________________ Thread derailed

yes, they look good. but is the sound acceptable? I'm not a high end sound wanker (especially when it comes to norsecore ), but ... hmmm?! |

| Doesn't quite require Sherlock Holmes to find the bootlegger. The identity behind mcp5011 was revealed already last year on this forum. |

I know that it's on this board already who is behind at least most of these, but I think it needs more than forum-posts or some sold copies to actually be sure and do something for it legally. This if the actual labels do care about this, maybe they don't care, I don't know. |

Cds of all those albums are widely available so I want to believe that whoever made these had at least the dignity to source them from the real deal without resorting to youtube. Knowing those albums by heart, I admit that if I ever purchase one or more of them it will mainly be for collectors issues.
By the way, wasn't War Anthem Records supposed to officially re-release that Unanimated album on vinyl? It was announced ages ago but nothing ever came out of that. _________________ Thread derailed

Laurent does have a few elements speaking against him
FACT: he broke promises to a lot of bands
FACT: he ripped people off in the past
FACT: he produced bootlegs in the past
FACT: he is selling what seems to be every new bootleg on the market
I don't care who produced them. I'm just pissed off that for the music fan it will again become increasingly difficult to find original copies of certain releases, as these obviously will be sold as originals by greedy sellers very soon. |

| Peaceville, Metal Blade, Plastic Head etc. will all be aware of this shortly and I am sure between them they can afford to put him in jail. |

The covers all look like shit and it's obvious these are boots.
They probably sound like shit, too. |

I'm sure with the money he's gonna get from selling 300 units of 30+ records at €25 (or more) each he can afford hiring fucking Shapiro and bust Peaceville, Metalblade & Plastic Head's ass off _________________ Thread derailed
