Pretty cool stuff.
Miasma - Changes
Accidental Suicide - Deceased
Infected Virulence - Music of Melkor
Darkified - Sleep Forever
Electrocution - Inside the Unreal
these all come to mind, though some of these have probably gotten a bit more "exposure" in recent years with the rising trend of ''old school death metal'' and everything being labeled a "forgotten classic" _________________

there was a thread about Electrocution..the album has been reissued a couple of months ago. also tried to offer them a a concert playing the whole album but it seems not all old members are interested in playing live. _________________

I second this. It's similar to Judas Iscariot. Very typical of everything you'd expect of Norway, but still good enough to be memorable. _________________ + EXITIVM PRODVCTIONS +

Parasitic Records will actually be doing a vinyl version of the Winter of Apokalypse album at some point next year. _________________ www.contagionreleasing.com |

I see the Judas Iscariot comparison, but honestly I think it sounds fairly unique. Real nice bottom end, and better songwriting/dynamics than a lot of the Norwegian stuff. _________________ Great traders/sellers: GoldenBull, Ivan the terrible, OA, LifeDepraved, maranatha, newincident, 61514, Korpinen, NuclearGoatVomit, global deathrape, s. charlach, madcow, xyosefx, goatcaft, Blutkvlt, Ironwood, Unholy Horde, Wolfsturm888, Pinhas |

UK-based Chapel of Rest as well as In Torment from Spain are two bands from the death / doom genre that rightfully deserve a tag like "hidden gem" imho. They didn't get beyond the demo status unfortunately, but both "Twilight Serenades" and "Lamentations" have aged extremely well for me with their well-arranged, skillfully played as well as heavily crushing tunes. Both bands are definitely of the kind I've always wondered what they would have developed on further releases. _________________ THE GOOD TRADERS LIST |

| Winter of Apokalypse is great! The vinyl news is excellent. I'm still wishing for new material though. |
