I have a copy. I've not had time to give it a proper isolated listen but I will try soon and report back. Maybe later tonight. FYI it's a single black vinyl record inside a white sleeve with zero other information anywhere IIRC. I actually had to put a sticker on it so I will know what the fuck it is in 10 years' time!... _________________

| Wasn't this the RiM recording that isn't officially RiM after all? Or something along those lines? |

It's not as good as RiM.
Not as "religious" not the same atmosphere, not the same aura
It's basically harsh Black Metal without vocals. Def more agressive than RiM
It has a dense atmosphere for sure.
It's worth it really
But dont expect something as "spiritual" as RiM
Drums are very agressive and forward in the mix.
Could even appeal to people into noise stuff _________________ DISJECTA MEMBRAE plays Vomitive Doom

Sounds like a drum rehearsal with noise in the background.

| I kinda like the idea to release something totally anonymous, makes people actually pay attention to the actual music (hopefully). It would be better though not to reveal number of limitation and record label. Now everybody knows it already that its some band member(s) side project from one (or more) bands under Ancient Records. Thus, i'm not interested. Interesting idea though. |

This sums it up. Once in a while you can hear a scream here and there and some guitar noise. The drumming is really aggressive. _________________

The copies I had were in an all black sleeve, except for an 'AR013' in grey letters on the bottom right corner of the back side. You can see it as a faint blur here if you look close enough.
As for the music, it has been described accurately by a few people at this point. I'm sold out now but more copies have already been ordered in case anybody is still intrigued. _________________ http://www.fallenempirerecords.com/

I only learned about Svartrit from that thread (I already knew about Urkaos and the label) and the only reason I checked Svartrit out was because someone said they sound like old Gorgoroth which I really like. Then I just started checking out all of the other bands on the label and most of the stuff is excellent. |
In a sense I agree with Ancient limiting their releases, but the actual limits they're setting seem stupid. For example, each Svartrit limited to 150 and yet this Untitled album is limited to 250...da fuck? |

Sometimes the bands choose the limitation as opposed to the label.
The record is excellent, but don't expect to hear any songs. Its just drums alone with something in the background that could be guitar but is too low in the mix to tell. |

+1. Not surprisingly, it's scoring enthusiastic replies from most posters. _________________ Thread derailed
