It saddens me a bit searching for "keith deen" in the forum and getting only one result, c'mon dudes, one of the most charismatic voices in thrash/speed metal had passed away last week, so I guess opening an apreciation topic would be the fair thing to do.
The 2 Holy Terror albums are some of the best unsung classics in the late 80's metal realm. If you don't get the chills listening to "Judas reward", "The immoral wasteland" or "Distant calling" (one of the songs of my life) you're already DEAD with no doubt.
Discuss and crack open a cold beer for Keith, fuckers.

i have to agree with this. Holy Terror had a very distinct sound and excellent songs. lots of bands try to achieve that 'chilling' effect, but not a lot succeed. HT do -- and without making it their schtick. they're hands down one of my favorite speed/thrash bands from that era. |

I had read interviews where some people had tried to contact him but, no luck.
There is a Holy Terror site which was pretty informative. Only thing which was around for years before the LPs were reissued. 86 Demo is there as well a bunch of live tracks

Its unfortunate but he was closing in on 60, his vocals are amazing you have to be a beast to keep up with that fast tempo and constantly changing riffs. Mind Wars is one of my favorite metal albums, RIP
