The point is that he seems to bask in the attention he used to avoid, and I suspect that Darkthrone's primary selling-point is now the guy's charisma.

I don't know on what planet you live to imagine that a man can live just by releasing an album each year in a music vein that is ignored by 90% a the metalheads... and despised by a large amount of their former fanbase.

This means, I am asking something, most probably because I don't know.
They DID rehearse @ Fenriz's parents in the past, you can also read this in the liner-notes of the "Frostland Tapes" or "Prepare for War", if I remember correctly.
And as for still working at the post-office: Could be, could not be. Wouldn't surprise me if he's on welfare. Somehow, also Metalion for example never needed to work. |

| Somebody compared Darkthrone to Tarantino a few pages back, which is something I've talked about with a friend a while ago. Now, seeing how annoying their fanboys are, I'm even more certain they're the Tarantinos of metal. |

Because some people look to musicians for inspiration and to worship at their alter religiously in place of Jesus or Buddha, and musicians fucking around and not taking their music seriously is sacrilegious to these pious fanboys. If music isn't respected properly it's like someone making fun of the bible to Christofags. It's just another form of religion.
