Indeed. He apparently couldn't get a visa to stay in the US and thus decided to move to Italy - the home of all things cheesy.

Strange. I always thought Nick Mertaugh aka The Merauder and Kaiaphas where the only members of Thokk.

I remember Elg saying in some television interview that the killing had nothing to do with a ritual murder, although it was advertised as such. More than likely it was just a case of a few guys getting totally messed up on homemade moonshine and who knows what else, just before getting into an argument about who drank the last beer. Apparently the victim was dismembered and the body parts were used for "sexual purposes". He's in the middle here:

I bought The Cainian Chronicle literally days before this incident came out in the finnish media so I guess it has a special little significance to me in a way.

I'm not going to go through 22 pages of this thread right now, but I can't believe someone dissed Obtained Enslavement's Centuries Of Sorrow and Witchcraft on the first page! Oh you, people...
I have really started to like Cryogenic's Celephais (1998) more and more in the past few years. Germany and melodic black metal often times do NOT go well together but this album may be an exception to that rule.
