Apart from a few bands, the lineup does nothing for me.

I don't have my tickets yet, but I am very excited about Martyrdoom! Especially Friday...can't wait for fucking GRAVE RITUAL!!!!

I'm definitely going Friday and Saturday...haven't decided about Sunday yet. I want to see Bastard Sapling, but driving into Brooklyn 3 days in a row is a bit of a pain.

I heard that some of the bands on Friday and Saturday will play outdoors - that should be really cool.

sounds like this year might end up a total flop. last year was fun, but they really should have kept the scale down this year.. it's like these small fests always tend to make the same mistakes after their first year or two.

That sucks...had no idea. Grave Ritual is still listed on the flyer on the Signature Riff page as of June 1.

So if the Martyrdoom and Sig Riff pages are incorrect, does anyone know the current lineup??

Line up is

Pre-fest show:
SATANIK GOAT RITUAL
KRIEG
MANTICORE
CRYPTER

Friday:
ATRUM INRITUS
COUGH
DECREPITAPH
KOMMANDANT
MORBOSIDAD
PTAHIL
SET *CANADA/USA *1st Show Ever
STOIC DISSENTION
THE FLIGHT OF SLEIPNIR
THANTIFAXATH *CANADA
WARDAEMONIC *AUSTRALIA

Saturday:
BESTIAL MOCKERY * SWEDEN *Last Show Ever
CRUCIFIER
DEATHGOD MESSIAH
DEMONIC CHRIST
DESOLATE
FUNERAL PYRE
HELLGOAT
HOUR OF 13
MARTYRVORE
MORGENGRAU
MORPHEUS DESCENDS *original lineup
SHITFUCKER

Sunday:
BASTARD SAPLING
CHURCHBURN *1st Show Ever
PACT *1st Show Ever
RAWHIDE *SWEDEN

Basically here's the deal that i'm getting from what Vinny has said on facebook and the event page...when the lineup was finalized and then set up and dates picked and tickets just went on sale the public assembly closed without any prior notice to any of the promoters who had shows set up there. So basically tickets had to be taken down while they secured a new venue. They got a venue figured out, but its much smaller than public assembly so the fest had to be scaled back. This led to Drowning the Light and Vinny agreeing to cancel their appearance and work on a future show with them at a more proper venue and time given they were an exclusive being flown in. I believe Ares Kingdom was also canceled because they were a fly-in as well.

Also due to the venue change, that meant times and lineups changing so that for some reason sunday could only fit four bands, most bands playing were on saturday and friday was cut down a bit.

Over time the following bands either canceled or agreed to not play given the circumstances over the past few months, some replaced, but as there's 6 less bands than originally planned, though there's suppposed to be at least one or two replacements being worked out (one on friday, one saturday).

∆VANGELIST
EXECRATION
GRAVE RITUAL
MORGENGRAU
NEKROFILTH
BLASPHEMIC CREULTY
INSATANITY
SYMPHONY OF GRIEF
ARES KINGDOM
DROWNING THE LIGHT
FUNERAL PYRE

Its unfortunate that all this happened as martyrdoom was great last year and still has quite a few nice appearances this year around. Hopefully all the issues doesn't mean the fest has a chance to continue. Maybe a martyrdoom III can happen as a more scaled down fest, either one or two days.

Still worth attending for Bestial Mockery, Crucifier, Morpheus Descends, Set & Thantifaxath... too bad I can't afford a flight, arrrgh.

Hails to Reaper's Grave for that update! Many changes, but still a kick-ass lineup of bands in my opinion. I'll be there!!

I'm going for sure, even with the pared down lineup.

Not nearly as good as last year and not enough bands I personally like enough to go.

Out of all 4 days, I like maybe 1 show's worth.

Cool that it's happening though.

Really? It's pretty crazy to me that anyone who's into ug metal and lives in NYC would skip this, even with the reduced line-up...

Well....my one day to go would be Saturday.
But I have seen Ho13 before and I played shows with Morpheus Descends in the early 90s! Also I saw Demonic Christ a few times in the early 90s as well.
