I'm interested in any sort of doom death in the vein of Hellvetron and Encoffination, I know this type of sound often intersects with Incantation clones but I'm not interested in any stuff like that. Thanks!

Swallowed has been quite praised around here and rightfully so.
I'm not sure about WITCHRIST because obviously the OP is looking for doom/death with a strong occult atmosphere, conveyed through an excessive use of REVERB, Encoffination and Hellvetron being both drenched in reverb, making it more distant and less agressive than the mastodon WITCHRIST

Sharing similar traits with Witchrist and since you mentioned "drenched in reverb" Genocide Shrines' mcd is swamped with it, likewise no defficiency of the occult air and discarding the more faster segments of course. |
