I like most of the "big" ones, so except Maiden, Venom and Saxon: Angel Witch, Diamond Head, Tank, Witchfynde, Witchfinder General, Cloven Hoof, Tokyo Blade, Demon, Satan, Raven, Praying Mantis, Girlschool, Hell, Samson.
The more obscure ones I like are Saracen (check out if you haven't), Wolf, Virtue, Marseille, Limelight, Hollow Ground, Savage etc. |

I am no NWOBHM specialist whatsoever, but recently picked up CLOVEN HOOF and SAVAGE cds which are great.
I d like to add some more once budget allows...

| Forgot Pagan Altar. Desolation Angels were good too, reformed recently. Deep Machine too. Battleaxe is another I forgot I can recommend, cheesy though. And Blitzkrieg obviously. |

I don't recall the first two being remarkable, but I definitely like Touch the Night. It's definitely more on the cheesy/light side of NWOBHM, so I'm not surprised if this one won't be liked too.
Also, would be nice to have an analogue thread but about what the rest of the world was doing at this time... tons of gems too. |

Oh yeah... finnaly another nwobhm thread on here. This is definatly my personal favorite genre, way too many to list my entire favs but tank, starfighters, lautrec, streetfighter, warfare, quartz, demon, chinawite, mad dog, rogue male, avenger, chevy, demon pact, mother's ruin, mendes prey, black axe, jaguar, high treason, chainsaw, lighning raiders, blinder, big daisy, killer, praying mantis, samurai, warrior, turbo, twisted ace, I really could go onforever and ever...
