Why do you think so? He played with Absurd in Italy, in October 2012. I am very confident there's new material ready to be recorded anytime soon. Everything shall be announced by the band in due time, afaik. _________________ Solitary Elitism:

That would be great. The Weltenfeind material is excellent! |

New Absurd material would be most welcomed. _________________

Just recalled someone mentioning it, good to hear it was a false information. Thanks for the info, will wait for a new material. |

Although I can fully understand the want to improve the album's sound, in my opinion, the remix has rendered the sound too streamlined, too sleeked. |
Even though the songs were remixed and remastered, they still sound utterly raw IMO. Just much more powerful than on the initial mix down. Believe me, the band never ever felt happy with how the first mix turned out... and given the chance, this remix was mandatory. |
No, I didn't mean to claim that the remix got rid of the original rawness, which of course is still present, probably even increased; it was a faulty choice of words on my part. What I did mean, however, is that the remix, in my opinion, removed much of the individual space each compositional element had in the original mix in favour of a more homogenous (organic, if you will) sound pattern - which is what I referred to as a "streamlined sound". While it does grant the music an overall fuller sound, the interplay of the individual parts of the greater whole is subdued.
I can certainly see why the band would prefer the remix over the original (which is considerably decrepit, this I won't deny), but there's also no doubt that I, personally, will always prefer the latter for the specific reasons I named. In short, I simply prefer the original's spatiality over the remixed version's density. I do, however, own both versions. |

Ok, that makes sense. I know there are people, like yourself, who prefer the first mix over the remix. It's interesting to learn of their reasons; so, thank you for explaining in detail. As always, what is a flaw to some might be a plus to others... _________________ Solitary Elitism:

Exactly the same songs are on Facta (minus the intro from German TV news). _________________

That one is the intro for the "final edition" of FL, though. _________________ Solitary Elitism:

Is your brother that much older than you that he already attended university in 1990? I guess being 14 years old in 1990 you yourself would not attend a live gig... |

I don't really care about this band, but demos+original Facta is fun to listen to from time to time. Black Motorcycle!! _________________ Good/Bad traders list

Then, then it's true what is said in the Intro of my "Thuringian Pagan Madness" 7" ?
... die Beschäftigung mit dieser menschenverachtenden Ideologie, wo das Töten zum Programm gehört, hat die Jugendlichen dazu befähigt... _________________
