Difference is:
In the 90ies, this was a handful of fans who did that on their own. Mostly younger people, as the BM-scene itself was also still young and fresh.
Now, you have a shitload of tourists with absolute no relation to that time and they are guided by this fuckface Anders Odden, who also makes a nice money out of it. |
The reasons of visiting were no different, in many cases. To visit the grounds of their idols. _________________ There is a country called Tír na N Óg, which means the Country of the Young, for age and death have not found it; neither tears and loud laughter have gone near it. no different to Beatles fans visiting Abbey Road, Door's fans going to Jim Morrisons grave etc.
Great Anders Odden saw a money making opportunity and took it. |

I remember when Moonfog's website was still running, the description for Nemesis Divina was something like "black metal's response to Sgt. Pepper". _________________

Yes. Yes, it is. Anyone thinking otherwise is delusional. _________________ There is a country called Tír na N Óg, which means the Country of the Young, for age and death have not found it; neither tears and loud laughter have gone near it. The shadiest boskage covers it perpetually. |

Anders Odden = leftover-man
This includes also his useless participation in that pathetic CF-reunion. |
