Don't know if this will be of interest -
OCCULT CRYPTS (North Bay, Ontario) "...spawn of the macabre..." 2011 CD-R (available from SFM Distro) is raw, depressing black metal that sounds like LORD WIND, CARPATHIAN FOREST, GRAVELAND, VELES, FULLMOON. |

Fullmoon have been absent, even though I had that demo some time ago. I do listen to Infernum occasionally but I'm petty sometimes and that story surrounding Karcharoth made me not want to listen to the band for a long time... |
The good one where he wanted to murder Femmeriz but couldn't afford it or when he fagged out and ratted everyone out to the cops? I think Taur-Nu-Fuin was recorded before the latter happened. _________________ "man i love slayer so much i grew my face "

This is obviously the MOST correct answer, as it is truly, pure Temple of Fullmoon worship. The other bands in the thread are all influenced by the older bands, and all great, but Werewolf is legitimate WORSHIP, and will make you happy if you're looking for Veles/Fullmoon/early Graveland style stuff. _________________ Helcaraxë - Epic Heathen Death Metal

This one sounds more like having Emperor influence more than anything.
White Wolves Kommando. Not so much on demos (but obvious everyone who knows TTF era polish black metal) but on the 7" it's very clear to notice. _________________

Although Satanic Warmaster's "Strenght & Honour" is known as "pioneer of late finnish bm style", for me it sounds quite polish, especially Graveland comes to mind. Well, lets say demo era-Emperor meets Poland. _________________ Mors fennico more |

| WEREWOLF is indeed great TTF-worship, although it sounds a little bit too polished (hoho). |

They never cleared up their relations, like it can be seen on the comments of Farewell booklet and Darken's comments on interviews. _________________

I seem to remember a Supernal newsletter from the time of Karcharoth's suicide mentioning Capricornus' satisfaction with the outcome.
Tbh if I didn't listen to bands based on the bs surrounding them, my collection would be a hell of a lot smaller!
And thanks to whoever suggested Werewolf; I'd somehow missed them before. Great stuff. |

| The liner-notes on my versions of "Taur-Nu-Fuin" and "Farewell" (both not first press) by Darken are VERY clear that he salutes Karcharoth's suicide. |
