It's old, 70's probably.
Lots of nudity, some devil's coven, the usual fare for that type of movie... but it was a good one. Not as 'evil' toned as others in the thread, but worth a watch for sure. |
haha, watched this last night A nice one really Vicki Michelle |

The entire film is available on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIV_tamelMQ . Has anyone read the Huxley novel this was based on? The Devils of Loudun?
There are a number of Ken Russell films on YT in their complete form. Not an ideal setting, but if you're less than concerned about the cinematic experience, the essence remains... |
Indeed. Very interesting read; although it was several years ago that I read it. I also remember finding a lot of it quite anger-inducing, as well as illuminating.
Funnily enough I recently watched the BFI version of The Devils , which is still missing 4 minutes of footage- I think it's the rape of christ scene. Anyway, it's quite a nice presentation of the film, regardless. Oliver Reed was a legend.
I'll have a look for other Ken Russell films! Cheers! Some other interesting films mentioned here that I'm going to try and seek out.
But yeah, often the posters of old 70's cult b-movie/whorror type films look so much better than the actual film... |
