Did you e-mail them? Could easily be an error. |
No, too much headache for an order, besides, that thing is going into independent stores when it's out so lots of other chances to get it. _________________ http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Flight-Of-Sleipnir/267879219900772 |

Sounds like USA is catching up to the rest of the world...
that chart doesn't mean much to me though since I don't speak ounce. |

I will definitely have to limit / rethink my us purchases in the future. Looking at that chart further above the pain limit has been reached (if this is the correct expression). Sad really. |

Anyway, here we have some answers:
So now it looks like sending 1 tape from USA to EU will be $9.15, and 1 EP will be $12.15, and one LP will be $18.20. There will be a slight price discount for online postage purchases, it seems. This effects light packages of EP and CS the hardest.
You can look further into rates for other services here: http://pe.usps.com/January_2013_Notice_123_SS_v7.xls |
Price groups? What do they mean by 1, 2, 3-5, 6-9? |

$18.20 for one LP is still less than I pay if I order one LP from Europe once the exchange rate is factored in (most of the time) _________________ http://www.20buckspin.com |

Which, as stated earlier is an effort to force it into privatization. It blew my mind when I first read this, after hearing lies for so many years...

I'm pretty sure 1 = Canada, 2 = Mexico, 3 - 5 = Most EU and 6 - 9 = Australia, etc
Really sucks, price to ship small stuff to Canada just doubled.
Complete list: http://pe.usps.com/text/imm/immpg.htm |
16 oz to Europe right now is $13.17, so I'm guessing it will go up a couple bucks. Obviously, the lower the weight, the higher the percentage increase. _________________

Actually, I have read that there will be tracking through First Class International with the rate increase. It needs to since I also read that First Class Intl postage will increase 59%. |
If this is true I'll be pretty happy to be honest! Having tracking on all international packages would reduce so much of the risk associated with overseas orders that are paid via Paypal. _________________ ***************************

The only record I'll trade for is a CELTIC FROST "Morbid Tales" original Noise picture disc! I need one please!!!
