we also have that taunt here in Denmark, though I dont think we have lyrics for it- you just sneer "NA NA NA, NA NA, NAAA" and maybe finish of with "dumbfuck" |
Funny to see that "na na na na na naaa" is more universal than I would have expected. Kids definitely say that in the US. Usually followed by a random taunt. | Something like "I made you eat your parents" I guess
Btw, we do have lyrics for the melody as well, at least when I was a kid we did: "bangebuks med ble på, gider vi ikk' at se på" which roughly means "scaredy-pants in diapers, we don't wanna look at" |

Agreed on Bathory and Morbid.
My contribution : Celtic Frost "The Usurper"
"Tragical serenades
Are whispered in the wind"
Awesome, awesome song, but that part still cracks me up. |

| The outro of Genever from WOODS OF INFINITY with the melody played with dog sounds (dog solo as I like to call it). Totally WTF yet brilliant. |

I can actually mention every song WOI have ever made in this thread.
In A Love Story they play the most bizarre melody ever to have in such a song. (Kycklingen Gullefjun a swedish childs song) Only to later twist it into an even more bizarre version of that same song.
Also in Tvåfaldig Vikt är en Styggelse för Herren when the break comes in the middle. "Då kommer himlen till jorden tralala la laa" = Then the heaven comes to earth tralala la laa.
Yes, WOI are the masters of "wtf" moments. _________________ Todays modern science is your modern religion.

I agree of course, "A Love Story" is one of my favorite songs from WoI, that childish / idiot melody twisted into a perverse riff seconds later... Shivers!
Another totally WTF songs is "Under Färden" from Hejda, sounds like an old pop song (like one of their covers of Barry Manilow or Mike Oldfield), names of little girls (supposedly) and that chorus : "We are together, united as a family".
This band is awesome. |

How anyone in the band listened to this grunting and thought that it sounded good is beyond comprehension. |
Hahah wow, that's fucking retarded. Homer Simpson on guest vocals? |

I have to go with the majority here and say Bathory's pace till death is the worst... tbh i usually skip that song mainly for that part alone haha.
Other than that I always get a kick out of the king diamond esque scream in Dissection's Black Horizons. |

When I first heard Abruptum (Evil Genius compilation), it was quite an unsettling experience. NeChrist was mentioned, that one is crazy in a good way. _________________ §:-«l |
