Are any of the other albums black metal like Lugburz? I only heard a few tracks from other releases and they were all ambient kind stuff.

The demos and split before Lugburz. The "epic" period started just after Lugburz.

Napalm reissues sound really good. I just listened to Stronghold yesterday and noticed how good sounding is it. But in packaging TOD did a way better job than Napalm. Fact.

The demo comp is out of this world. Absolutely essential.

I loved those demo tracks but the vocals were so fucking loud, at times pretty much all you can hear is this nerve grinding wailing. Always liked the vocals in Summoning and Abigor.. but this was too much. I can't listen to it.

"Stronghold" because first impression and most powerful, still resonates. I love all the work SUMMONING has done.

Lugburz no question!

Who has the Temple of Darkness picture disc version of it and how is the sound quality on it ?
