Edit: I forgot that synth = ambient and Rammstein = industrial around here |
Don't forget that later Darkthrone = crust. |
And Venom = black metal. |

Aghast and Archon Satani though already mentioned takes me to planes unknown.Fucking evil shit.
I remember liking Lashtal and Zero Kama, moreso the latter.
Cold Meat Industry in general released a couple of good stuff back in the days. _________________ Noro Boli Hay! |

Just a couple? I think they released a lot of dead-set classic albums - BDN, Archon satani, Raison D'etre, MZ.412, Deutsch Nepal, Puissance etc _________________ "14 words: we must secure the depravation of the children and ruin the whole fucking world..." |

YES, thank you. somebody with some knowledge of the genre..
SO-called 'ambient' w/ metal band members is about as authentic as calling Slipknot 'death metal' b/c there's a couple seconds of blasting... _________________ "I can feel the AIDS in the air" --Voivod |

Calling Venom anything other than black metal is retarded on a new level.

Recommendations? I see he has a huge body of work but any specific highlights would be appreciated. _________________

I'd say the early years of Cold Meat Industry are well worth checking out: In Slaughter Natives, MZ.412, Brighter Death Now, Ordo Equilibrio as well as other acts such as Endvra & Lustmord of course.
For European folks: we carry a few imported Lustmord titles in our shop and are about to announce a new release of TenHornedBeast (ex-Endvura). Available here! |

Surprisingly his earlier work isn't nearly as strong as the later stuff... _________________ "I can feel the AIDS in the air" --Voivod |
