Been on a GBK binge lately.

The middle part of Kosherat, with the killer rendition of older tracks (Ram/Mule/Hobo/Tricifixion) is getting lots of spins.

On a side note, doesn't Arktogša LP from last year sound a bit similar?

Once again, Gelal Necrosoccer is as of right now taking a brief pause on writing riffs for the moment.

Crazy how 90whatever% of bands out there haven't come close to matching the opening riffs of Shemhamforash, literally the first song of the first demo these guys put out.

Svolder came close with that gnarly GBK influence.

the closest to GBK is the resemblance to pieces of Kosherat. there is no Mocking the Philanthropist sounding stuff found in Svolder material. I dont think anything exists that sounds like Mocking, really.

I just meant Svolder has a recognizable GBK influence. It's quite obvious.

Mocking sounds like that blend of MH, early Rotting Christ and various heavy metal influences. Gelal makes his influences known as his sleeve while still retaining his own individuality to it.

downloaded Maledicere full lenght from their bandcamp based on a GBK cover on their discography.
Will see if there's some influence shown.

Had to vote Judeobeast Assasination. That album is so full of fucking great riffs it's insane and I find it almost difficult to listen to their other stuff because I just feel the Judeabeast calling everytime I try to listen to something else they did. All the other albums and stuff are rippers tho, no bad shit at all! Awesome band that almost deserve (if it wasn't fucking gay as hell) wax sculptures in a museum right besides Trump

Yep, silly of me to have sent a big juicy interview to Arghoslent right during this period, not a football fan so I had completely blanked out this information. Guess I'll have to wait Smile

Motorhead surely - I always referer to them as MH as well. And listen to GBK - total MH riffing.
