| They took what Blasphemy did and completely exaggerated it into a self-parody shitfest. That goes for most of those bestial/war black metal bands. |

THIS is an unanswered question in my book! All of these have their own notches that click so bad it's impossible to name a perfect weapon for extermination.
Triumph.Genocide.Antichrist blew me off charts when I first stumbled upon it.
Victory.Intolerance.Mastery pic LP sounds so harsh it kills me.
Infiltration.Downfall.Death is so violent it kills me.
Scum.Collapse.Eradiation is so heavy it kills me.

Outstanding, you have no clue what you're talking about, nor can you properly back you're retarded opinion.

A little tip (since you're obviously still growing up!). Revenge is not part of "those bestial war bands" know your history, fool. |

Why don't the faggots just stay out of threads having to do with bands they don't like or comprehend? Anyone have an answer for that? _________________ Malaria

| After letting Scum.Collapse.Eradication sink in over the year I have to choose it as my favorite. It retains the trademark Revenge sound while adding a new level of heaviness to it all. |

| Infiltration for me. But as others said already in the thread Victory has the best production. |

They have nothing to do with Blasphemy. Completely different musical style and ideology/aesthetic. _________________ If you tell me to recycle

| What are you guys talking about? Revenge, Conqueror, Bestial Warlust, Black Witchery, etc. carry on the brand of black metal that started with Blasphemy. I don't dislike the genre in its entirety (since I like Blasphemy and a few bands influenced by them) but, in my opinion, Revenge brings absolutely nothing interesting to the table. |

Musically, they carry on the tradition of Blasphemy. |

Musically they carry on the tradition of Conqueror, or at least that's how I've always felt about them. All those bands seem to fall under the same general umbrella to most people, but trying to say that Conqueror / Revenge are Blasphemy clones would be like trying to claim that Cultes Des Ghoules are Darkthrone clones because they both play black metal. _________________ If you are a false don't marry! | I didn't say they were clones. I said that they exaggerated the sound of Blasphemy. I don't like Conqueror either and the two sound identical to these ears. Don't they share members anyway? |

There is much to Revenge. It takes long time to get into each album, on the surface its too heavy and brutal to be enjoyable in any way, and thats the best thing about Revenge and why so many people cant stand this band.
If you compare Revenge to Blasphemy you should go find your self another forum. |
