So does Swine and Hateful Abandon...
Sharing members doesn't really mean much.
Conqueror and Revenge sound pretty similar, but Blasphemy and Conqueror really don't sound anything alike to me.

Really? I mean, this isn't a Revenge forum. There are plenty of other quality bands to talk about here. |

I'm not in Revenge or Conqueror, so I can't really say anything about their influences...but as a fan of all 3 bands, I can say that I don't hear much Blasphemy in Revenge.

It is at least obvious to me that CONQUEROR was influenced by BLASPHEMY and these elements are most apparent in the slower sections like in "Hammer of Antichrist". But in the end who cares. They're different bands with different aims.

| I agreed with a post talking about the obnoxious pick slides that are in a lot of their songs and then when asked why I don't like the band, I explained myself. Simple as that. I don't see how I was garnering that hard for attention. |

No problem with your dislike of these bands.
But several people including me dont agree with you when you say they took and exagerated the Blasphemy style. It's not true, even if Blasphemy influenced them among many other bands.

Fine, then you're done posting in this thread, which you've derailed enough. It's a poll on which of the band's albums is the best, not a poll on whether or not you like the band. You've made your opinion known on that issue. |
