Both good bands but over time Immolation trumps Incantation

| Incantation without a doubt. One of my all time favorite bands. Immolation is fucking great as well though, and a clear winner when it comes to live shows. |

| I'm more partial to the chaotic swirl of Incantation, but I think from a career point of view Immolation is the better band. |

| Immolation easily for me .. They incorporate way more things I find interesting. Lot's of strange augmented chord creation and off-kilter timing and riffing. Incantation is great obviously but you'll find them picking the same intervals over and over again .. the end result is each riff sounds like a variation of the one before it. Plus at the end of day, Immolation is simply heavier, faster, more talented ect. ... in my humble opinion. But on the other hand I can understand how the straight forward-ness of Incantation could be prefered by many. |
