I have always thought of this album as a South American answer to Master's Hammer.

If new material sounds like "Demolish the Towers of Heaven" I would be very interested in hearing a new album. I feel like that's a very good mix of the old-Goetia era and the later The World is So Good.. era.

Those two new songs sound really cool. The keyboards are a bit early Dimmu Borgir, but it works!

How come this is being re-released now? I thought there was a reason it wasn't included in the box set!

I actually really like The Fourth Evil Calling from the Abyss compilation, a lot of the songs were poorly (IMO) re-recorded for Profanus, but the versions on the compilation sound really good. Very similar to The World is so Good..

The boxset was already 6 LPs for regular and 7 LPs for die hard. I just couldn't afford to add another LP.

Shame, it's a massively overlooked album, different, but still as good as the first two in my opinion. Profanus didn't impress me much, maybe I need to go back to that one, but The World... deserves it's place next to the first two.

Skip Profanus, go for the versions on The Fourth Evil Calling from the Abyss compilation.

The operatic vocals on this album took a bit of getting used to for me, but the music is just amazing. I'll definitely pick up the vinyl.

Anyone have the Wicca and Goetia reissue CDs on Warfuck Records/Southamerican Holocaust/Sudaca Records? How are they?

It is massively overlooked. I consider it their heaviest album as well.

I didn't hate Profanus, but if I had to pick one Mystifier album to skip, that'd be the one.

The Fourth Evil Calling... tracks are great.

Goetia is still their best album for me. It has a pefect mixture of Brazilian MG metal spirit (ala Sarcofago, Sextrash, Vulcano) and something more unique and atmospheric. Sort of like an amazing mixture of Cogumelo style and old Greek black metal.

I don't think Mystifier has ever released anything on Cogumelo.
