What about favorite scenes? My favorite is Brazil.... Sepultura, Holocausto, Sarcofago, Sextrash, Vulcano, MUTILATOR!

I can't do a list, but I'll mention one album nobody has yet: VIRUS - Pray For War, a masterpiece of post-apocalyptic nuclear chaos!!! Solos that jump on your face, crazy vocal effects, and a mud avalanche sound that changes throughout the album and sweeps all over you. And I'm sure the drummer is some sort of atomic radiation mutant.
The best scenes easily German and Brazilian.

I have heard this before. And it's not a suprise either. It's heavily Kreator influenced. Just like Pleasure to Kill, some could say it's bordering to death metal as it's so brutal record. But I think the biggest difference and what essentially makes Death as death metal is the lyrics.

The Brazilian scene is the best, though Germany had a bunch of great bands as well. And let's not forget about Canada.
