Japanese noise scene is much more entertaining and shocking. I always see most bands from Japan as hero worship bands, they play heavy metal because they are die- hard fans of the music not the message behind it, although I'm sure there are some bands that are the opposite though

A Japanese band I have never understood (but enjoyed), is Corrupted. Great music, but the lyrics are in Spanish. What is the point that of them writing Spanish lyrics of all languages?

In regards to the phonetic statement, I understand the origin of the thought, but Japan has also produced some original acts like Sigh. Infidel Art has, and will always be in my top 5 metal albums despite the possible comedic value.

when d-clone came around here my lady friend and I were so drunk and star struck by their presence that we had to offer booze and try and chit chat with one of the members who was outside. The guy seemed way more chilled out and reserved (mostly because of the language barrier probably) than the local punk retards.

Gnome and Coffins (albums, not the 500 different 7''s and shitsplits) are all I care about.

I bought the latest Sigh and its cool for when Im in the mood for some circus jazz.

The same reason bands from English speaking nations have songs (or at least titles) in German and Latin

Anyone into the japenese band Gargoyle? I've heard only few songs of them, and while some had great thrashy parts, many were filled with pointless progressive shit, is there any album that keeps the outside influence to minimum?

Agree on this. Would include many hardcore and RAC bands as well, often 'feels' more serious than the famous metal bands.

Well, some Japanese hardcore bands also sing in (broken) Finnish, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Portuguese or Esperanto so...

German = Dem Fuhrer sein Sprache = evil, cool
Latin = Ancient language = occult, evil

Spanish? Not cool or evil at all (unless you try to imitate 80ies Southamerican Deathrash, but then you're an idiot)

@ topic: Don't listen to Asian bands at all. They just can't sing.

That's a part of Sabbat or Abigail charm... although I can understand a dislike for that
