One of the best Black Metal bands ever, and the absolute pinnacle of the Polish scene. Carpathian Wolves was the first real underground release I bought, so it naturally holds some nostalgia, but I later came to enjoy Thousand Swords even more. Everything up and to Immortal Pride is just amazing. Never really got into the subsequent material.

Gross exaggeration. Their best moment (The Celtic Winter that is) doesn't hold a candle to Norway/Sweden's finest albums. They're ok in their own cheesy way but far from being essential.

Of the albums on here, Carpathian Wolves, though "In the Glare..." is the best material of a band otherwise flawless up until Immortal Pride. Not to discount post-IP material, it's just not as interesting.

| Not sure if I voted in the last poll but Celtic Winter has always been my favorite for it's perfect guitar tone and atmosphere, I'd put it in my top 10 bm albums. |
