Svartsyn has to be one of the most underrated swedish Black Metal bands ever. There was a point when I was sure NED would sign them, but it strangely never happened. "...His Majesty" is way up there with Salvation, Casus etc. The secret jewel of orthodox Black Metal.

I checked out Timeless Reign on a whim last year, enjoyed it quite a bit. It's still the only material I've heard, but I did buy that recent 7" during the NWN! sale, the one with the weird/colorful cover. _________________ Good sellers/traders: metalmac, greenmonster, Transcendence, GoldenBull, Paria

FANTASTIC and deeply underrated band. Nostalgic reasons would pull me towards His Majesty, but I think Timeless Reign is their peak. The ugliness of the original version of The True Legend is great too.
Haven't heard the 2012 version; how do the two compare? |

I'd like to hear some opinions on this one as well. |

Both His.. and Skinning.. are godly. Yet with exceptions of their latest efforts and the first album their discography is almost flawless. |

One of the most overlooked band of the last 15 years. They're better than so many other bands that pay a similar style, including Watain. |

This is one of the few I never even looked up. I've heard something from them, but I can't remember what exactly. Some controversy about the band wreaking havoc at a graveyard or mortuary wasn't quite enough inspiration either. What's the story?
Someone convince me. Discovering older bands is a rare treat nowadays. _________________ §:-Ğl |

The rerecorded The True Legend is much better for me. I just love the band. My vote goes to Timeless Reign, the split with Arckanum is also my fave. _________________

"The True Legend" & "...His Majesty" are their best albums. I voted for "The True Legend", because I really enjoy the atmosphere in the songs. |

I'm not a fan of the rest of their discography, but ...His Majesty is really fucking good. The sound alone makes it worth it. |
