makes the 1997 edition sound like child's play. but if you're into that nostalgia-stained washed-out-can't-hear-anything-sound, then you'll prefer the 1997 edition.

I for one preferred that washed-out "sound," on the original The True Legend...something very raw and uncompromising about that one...
