I recently ran into this great Swedish death band called Bloodstone. I was interested in their "Hour of the gate" cd compilation, which includes their two demos, but I am not sure about the value of this cd, on discogs there is one on sale at an insane price, but clearly I don't know how much this cd can be worth. Maybe someone here can help me...thanks!

I'm searching the Bloodstone compilation CD as well, but this price is fucking insane. It seems that someone is poor as fuck and wants to make some money by selling this CD.
You should wait until you find it for a decent price.
To your topic: The CD is more or less rare these days. But I'd say that 40€-50€ should be enough as the CD isn't made of gold or diamonds. |

in the middle of swedish death metal revival insanity that cd sold for that price on ebay. just like the chronic decay one.
user anotherdeadhero found a slighty damaged deadstock some years ago and sold copies in the trade forum for 50$

400 euros for that cd? That's more than insane. How much would their original demos be worth so?
I think I will stick on my downloaded cdr...I can't spend more than 20 euros for that cd.

I remember when it was sold for 29 SEK (about 3 Euro) at the local record store. They had many copies for that price. I bought a couple and traded them away. This was some eight years ago I think. OK band.
Also remember when they gave away Raptus CDs for free at another shop. Now they seem to be really rare. Sorry for going off topic. |

Yes, isn't Bloodstone one of those bands that went relatively unnoticed for some reason or another? Kind of like Darkified, Hetsheads and Uncanny.

The vinyl is way more affordable. There are a couple of overpriced copies on discogs but you can find that LP for $20 with some patience.
$400 for the CD is hilarious.

I found a mint copy for 5 bucks and sold it for 460 on Ebay. Sweet deal.
