So I'm looking to discover some really ballsy heavymetal from late 70s - late 80s besides the usual NWOBHM bands. The music has to be all out with bad ass solos and stuff. No pansy midpaced shit or power metal nonsense!

Legend was great.

Also try Medieval. They were a great band than shunned away from traditional metal image, values and sound of the time.
