SP034 : Gris - À l'Âme enflammée, l'Äme constellée... DCD

5 years and a half after the unforgettable Il Était Une Forêt, and after the Miserere Luminis project, Icare and Neptune resume their trip with their third album, once again a masterpiece. Featuring two symmetric parts for a total of 80 minutes, À l'âme enflammée, l'äme constellée... sees the band integrate more of the classical and acoustic parts displayed by the last track of their second album to its melancholic Black Metal. A painfully beautiful album.

Available in regular DCD version (17 $/Euros), or in a Double Digipack, 6 pannel version limited to 500 copies and only available through Sepulchral Productions (20 $/Euros)

Sounded great!

The new Sombres Forêts track under the same youtube channel is no slouch either.

Can't say I liked it. Too long nonmetal part, and I dislike the new vocal style. Maybe the album will turn out different.

I agree about the vocal style, hopefully it's not so dull compared to IL ETAIT... I liked the acoustic stuff and apparently it's going to be in major part, which is OK for me, but the clear and awesome production of the metal part in Dil annoyed me. I've waited for this album so long and by 1 listen this new song was a turn-off in a way.
